In the face of the Shenzhen Bay super headquarters base environment with an international perspective and diverse forms, we hope that the Hongshuwan campus can allow students and citizens to experience this land as much as possible and discover the connection between their daily lives and the urban environment they are in.

Hongshuwan School is located at an important node in the southeast quadrant of Shenchao, adjacent to the subway line and bus stop on the north side. The surrounding environment is complex and the land is tight. In such a valuable and complex land, the design predicts a reasonable construction method for the site, with buildings concentrated on the west side and the playground returning to the ground, easing the density of the area and finding a daily and friendly presence in the medium density campus, while also reserving the possibility of future expansion. Primary and secondary schools are divided into upper and lower areas, arranged around the central courtyard, creating a shared activity space in the middle and surrounding the campus to create a comfortable environment. The athletics field, auditorium, restaurant, and gymnasium are placed on the northwest side, providing the possibility of time-sharing sharing for the community. Shared public teaching spaces are accommodated between the upper and lower areas, creating an interesting and experiential three-dimensional campus space.

The concise "hui" shaped floating volume responds to the complex urban environment, creating an elevated shadow sharing space that meets the functional needs of the campus. At the same time, it highlights a concise and powerful image in the diverse urban environment, creating a unique campus tranquility.

The external interface of the campus is well-organized, with shared courtyards, "grey" spaces under the eaves, and open playgrounds responding to the noisy construction and high-density built environment in the surrounding area. It also accommodates the possibility of future venue updates and iterations. The space extends and interacts with each other, carrying the daily campus activities of teachers and students. The mangrove bay forest, birds, natural water features, and deep urban landscape have become part of the campus space.
