We try to weave the rhythm of free strolling in Kuanzhai Alley into the campus space, breaking through the traditional herringbone-shaped functional zoning paradigm, integrating spaces of different scales, and forming a diverse circulation space, so that students can reach the internal courtyards and functional spaces from all directions through "streets" and "alleys" of varying widths. Here, teaching is not limited to the classroom. A series of interconnected and interesting spaces such as "courtyards" and "alleys" enrich students' activities inside and outside the classroom, stimulate free behaviors such as learning, socializing, exploration, and leisure, and shape the campus into a miniature city, encouraging students to interact and communicate.
The design chooses the simplest juxtaposition method: the sports field is placed on the west side and the school building is placed on the east side. The school building on the east side and the high-rise residential area of Jindi Tianfu City on the west side jointly enclose the sports field, forming a huge courtyard, which becomes a gentle transition between the residential area and the teaching area. It takes in the fireworks of the city while protecting the tranquility of the campus, and becomes a world for children to come into contact with real earth and nature. The buildings are concentrated on the east side of the site, with 10 courtyards of varying sizes inserted into the interior. These courtyards are interwoven through ramps, stairs, and platforms. These ten courtyards of varying shapes contrast with the open playground, becoming an extension of the interior space, blending the outdoors with the indoors. They are not only landscapes throughout the year, but can also be transformed into different usage scenarios. Teachers and students run, play, give lectures, or even just sit there in a daze. It is a miniature society.
