The library site is located on the existing school playground, Continuing the memory of the original site’s openness, it is envisioned as a continuation of the campus’ public space. The ground floor intervenes in the original campus activity venue with an open attitude, becoming a place for scheduled or occasional events of the school. The concise sequence of the “gate-like” colonnades expresses the tranquility of the space, where various activities such as learning, leisure, and communication occur spontaneously.The double-sloped wooden box reading space is placed on the second floor, connecting a suspended "gate-like" steel staircase in the middle. It suggests that the library is a temple of books, a spiritual place. The light from windows of different sizes and roof skylights enhances the interior experience of the sloped roof prototype and creates a quiet reading space.

prefabricated steel structure supports wooden structure system of the second floor.The interior and exterior space interfaces are defined by the outer layer of steel and the inner layer of wood.the outer layer of steel provides a contrast for the inner layer of wood , giving the user a different psychological feeling, indicating the exchange of space.The second floor library space uses wooden structure and the slanted wooden frame was handed over to the ridge roof,forming a wooden structure a sense of direction.

A suspended steel staircase stretches from the second floor. It sensitivly holds the pace of the steps,the sound of the overhead, the silence of the reading space.Open the door handle of the staircase entrance, and you will see wooden grids filled with books on both sides. Light pours down from the roof, leading you to the second floor. As you go up the stairs, your mood slowly settles, brewing a mood that is in tune with the reading atmosphere.The internal library continues the double-sloped roof prototype space of the school's original teaching building. Soft light shines in from the windows on both sides, adding to the tranquility of the space. The book steps of different heights on the ground form different partitions, creating a rich space. Surrounding the prototype library is a rest corridor. At both ends of the library are communication platforms with different interfaces, which interact with the campus environment, internal space and nature through doors and windows of different sizes, light, shadows, sounds of different intensities, etc.
